Khatav Steel Pvt. Ltd., a producer of precision engineered mild steel products for construction and industrial buyers, wanted a website that reflected its manufacturing standards and helped procurement teams understand its product capabilities. The previous site lacked clarity, had scattered content, and did not present product categories in a way that supported buyers researching specifications. The objective was to create a clean WordPress website with a structured catalog, consistent branding, accurate product information, and a layout that encouraged inquiry submissions.
Before the redesign, Khatav Steel’s website used inconsistent page templates and had limited space to communicate technical details, which caused visitors to leave without exploring product pages. Product information was spread across multiple sections, mobile navigation was unclear, and the site frequently reported load times above four seconds. These issues affected user confidence and limited the company’s ability to support procurement conversations. The absence of a defined content structure had also made previous optimization attempts ineffective.
Aarav Infotech planned the project in phases that covered information restructuring, UX alignment, and WordPress development. We created a clear taxonomy for product categories and arranged technical content into easy to scan layouts. The design team introduced a modern visual theme that complemented the client's industrial identity, while the development team optimized the WordPress backend for cleaner content management. The project was completed within six weeks and included revisions, stakeholder walkthroughs, and final performance checks.
Key improvements included:
Within the first eight weeks after launch, Khatav Steel recorded a 42 percent increase in inquiry submissions, largely due to clearer product sections and improved call to action placement. Average time on product pages increased from 38 seconds to 1 minute 27 seconds, showing stronger engagement from engineering and procurement visitors. Load times dropped by 38 percent, which improved overall browsing experience. The company also reported that sales teams found the new website easier to reference during discussions with clients, especially when sharing product specifications.
The build used WordPress with a custom theme tailored to industrial product presentation. Tools such as ACF were used to create structured product fields, while WP Rocket and server side caching helped improve speed. The site was connected to existing hosting services without interruptions to email or DNS.
Key technical deliverables included:
The project delivered a clear, organized WordPress website that improved Khatav Steel’s product visibility and generated measurable business results.
