Devashi Paper, a long running manufacturer of tissue products, needed a modern ecommerce website that could clearly present their wide product range and support business buyers who require quick access to specifications and ordering options. Their existing site lacked structure and made navigation difficult, especially for bulk purchase categories. Aarav Infotech was engaged to rebuild the platform in WordPress with the objective of improving product visibility, simplifying the ordering journey, and creating a scalable framework for future expansion.
Before the project, Devashi Paper managed more than 40 product variations without a proper category hierarchy, which created confusion for visitors and increased drop offs. The product detail pages did not include consistent specifications, and response forms were scattered across the site. Buyers spent an average of 3 to 4 minutes searching for basic information, which led to low inquiry volume. The site also had inconsistent branding and slow load times that impacted trust and repeat visits.
Key issues identified:
Aarav Infotech rebuilt the entire website on WordPress with a clearly defined catalogue strategy designed for B2B buyers. The team created category based templates, grouped related products, and introduced consistent specification fields across all items. A guided inquiry flow was implemented so users could request pricing or bulk orders in fewer steps. We redesigned the UI with a clean and functional layout, improved mobile responsiveness, and organized the content according to real buyer behaviour insights. The full project cycle was completed in 6 weeks, including testing and migration.
Key actions taken:
The new site delivered measurable improvements in engagement and conversions within the first month after launch. The average product discovery time dropped from 3 minutes to less than 40 seconds. Inquiry submissions increased by 38 percent, driven by the clearer flow and accessible forms. Page load speed improved by 55 percent, reducing bounce rates and bringing more repeat visits. Devashi Paper reported better internal efficiency since adding or updating products no longer required long formatting work.
Outcome highlights:
The site was developed in WordPress using a lightweight theme structure optimized for catalog performance. WooCommerce components were used selectively for product display without enabling full checkout, keeping the focus on inquiry based buying. We created custom post types for different product groups, along with Advanced Custom Fields for accurate specification management. The site was integrated with the client’s existing email workflow for lead handling, and caching tools were configured for speed optimization.
Technical elements:
The project delivered a stable and well structured WordPress platform that improved product clarity and inquiry growth for Devashi Paper.
