Project Overview
Rama Arts, led by production designer and art director Sushant Niranjan Panda, needed a portfolio website that could present his film, promo, and ad work in a clear and dependable manner. As a professional in the media and entertainment sector, his work often required quick reference during project discussions, yet he lacked a centralised digital presence. The goal was to build a WordPress driven portfolio that organised his projects, displayed visuals effectively, and helped potential collaborators understand his experience without unnecessary navigation hurdles.
The Challenge
Before the project started, all project references were scattered across offline folders, social posts, and shared files, which made it difficult to maintain consistency when showcasing work. There was no structured method for presenting detailed credits, visuals, or project categories. This gap affected the client's ability to present his portfolio during discussions with production houses and agencies.
Key issues included:
- No organised platform to showcase diverse film and advertising projects
- Slow manual sharing of work samples during professional interactions
- Lack of mobile friendly presentation for on-site meetings
- No branding alignment or professional layout to match industry expectations
Our Solution
Aarav Infotech planned and built a WordPress based portfolio site that combined simplicity, fast loading speed, and visual clarity. The design focused on clean layouts, category wise project listings, and an intuitive menu structure that helped visitors browse without confusion.
Key steps included:
- Custom WordPress theme development with lightweight components
- Clear project galleries supported by Ajax based loading for smoother navigation
- Layouts designed to display high resolution visuals without affecting performance
- Dedicated contact section routed to the client’s preferred communication channel
- A structured content flow that aligned with how production designers present their work
The site was completed within a planned timeline of 4 weeks, including approvals and revisions.
Results and Impact
Within the first month of deployment, the site showed a 40 percent improvement in loading speed compared to the initial test version. The organised galleries helped visitors understand the client’s range of work faster, which led to a 25 percent increase in enquiries submitted through the contact page. Production houses that earlier relied on shared files could now review work directly through the site, resulting in more efficient discussions.
Notable outcomes:
- Structured and professional presentation of all major projects
- Mobile usage increased by 60 percent, indicating better accessibility
- Reduced dependency on sending files manually during project talks
- A scalable foundation ready for adding new projects anytime
Technical Implementation
The website was built using WordPress with a custom theme supported by HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Ajax for smoother section transitions. Gallery layouts were optimised using JavaScript enhancements to handle large visual assets without slowing down performance. The admin panel was configured with category based content management so the client could add projects easily. No external systems were required, ensuring simpler long term maintenance.
Summary
The project delivered a structured, fast, and professionally presented portfolio platform that matched the expectations of the media and entertainment industry.
